DESCRIPTION:The Labyrinth Circle of Westminster United Church is pleased to announce that the labyrinth will be open Wednesday June 4 from 7:00 to 8:30. \nA labyrinth walk provides an opportunity for prayer and meditation along a path that has twists and turns not unlike the path of our lives. People walk the labyrinth for many reasons\, including curiosity. Some people begin the walk and then discover their reasons along the way. Every labyrinth walk is different. Come walk the path that has been identified with the Christian church since the Middle Ages. All are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 4th annual Pride Walk and Worship Service on Sunday\, June 15\, 2025 in Brighton\, Ontario. \nWe will assemble on the rainbow steps of Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church at 9:45 a.m. to start the Pride Walk at 10 a.m. The Pride Walk is about 30 minutes long and ends at Brighton’s Memorial Park where the Pride Worship Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Walk will proceed rain or shine. \nThe Pride Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Park\, Main St and Veteran’s Way (next to the CIBC bank). Featuring great music\, a kids play area\, refreshments and rainbow goodies\, the Pride Service is not to be missed! Bring your own chair and sun hat/umbrella. In case of rain\, the Pride Worship Service will take place in the church at 56 Prince Edward St.\, Brighton.

We have a large property with lots of natural features to share. Our gardens are well-kept and include areas such as the butterfly garden\, native plant garden\, and the children’s garden. In partnership with AIDS Committee of Durham Region\, we have a vegetable garden to supply their patrons with fresh produce. \nAt the rear of the property\, we boast a mix of woodlands\, meadows\, wetlands\, and a pond. It’s nature’s perfect recipe for every level of flora and fauna. Trails form loops through the landscape and offering relaxed paths for walking and seating areas for sitting and contemplating the natural environment.”
