DESCRIPTION:On Ash Wednesday we begin our journey through Lent to Easter. We remember that we are dust and that we will return to dust. We smudge our forehead with a mixture of oil and with ashes and attest that we are of the ground\, of Earth Mother\, and to this we will all return. It is a time to reflect on life as a gift\, that all we have is by grace. We remember that all comes from God\, from the earth\, and so to it we will return. As such\, there is nothing that is not of God. It humbles us and elicits expressions of thankfulness for all that we have. \nAll are welcome on Wednesday\, March 5\, 2025 @ 10:30am in the Cambridge St. Church Gymnasium for a chance to walk the labyrinth and discover how we can pause through the journey of Lent to remember God’s grace and embody hope.

DESCRIPTION:Our annual Spring Yard Sale takes place on Saturday May 10th\, 2025\, from 9am to 2pm. This is our biggest yard sale ever! \nItems include housewares\, toys\, linens\, puzzles\, sporting goods/fishing goods\, books\, plants /gardening supplies\, DVDs\, electronics\, artwork\, framed prints\, and small furniture. \nCoffee\, tea\, and muffins will be sold in the morning; the Men’s Gathering will sell hamburgers and hot dogs starting at 11am. \nFree cotton candy for the kids! \nThis event is held outside at 1778 Nash Road\, Courtice \, ON. We have a lot of parking.\nOur property is wheelchair accessible with a fully accessible washroom just inside the front doors.\nThis is a fundraiser for Faith United Church.

People walk the labyrinth for many reasons\, including curiosity. Some people begin the walk and then discover their reasons along the way. Every labyrinth walk is different.
