DESCRIPTION:On Ash Wednesday we begin our journey through Lent to Easter. We remember that we are dust and that we will return to dust. We smudge our forehead with a mixture of oil and with ashes and attest that we are of the ground\, of Earth Mother\, and to this we will all return. It is a time to reflect on life as a gift\, that all we have is by grace. We remember that all comes from God\, from the earth\, and so to it we will return. As such\, there is nothing that is not of God. It humbles us and elicits expressions of thankfulness for all that we have. \nAll are welcome on Wednesday\, March 5\, 2025 @ 10:30am in the Cambridge St. Church Gymnasium for a chance to walk the labyrinth and discover how we can pause through the journey of Lent to remember God’s grace and embody hope.

People walk the labyrinth for many reasons\, including curiosity. Some people begin the walk and then discover their reasons along the way. Every labyrinth walk is different. Come walk the path that has been identified with the Christian church since the Middle Ages. All are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 4th annual Pride Walk and Worship Service on Sunday\, June 15\, 2025 in Brighton\, Ontario. \nWe will assemble on the rainbow steps of Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church at 9:45 a.m. to start the Pride Walk at 10 a.m. The Pride Walk is about 30 minutes long and ends at Brighton’s Memorial Park where the Pride Worship Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Walk will proceed rain or shine. \nThe Pride Worship Service begins at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Park\, Main St and Veteran’s Way (next to the CIBC bank). Featuring great music\, a kids play area\, refreshments and rainbow goodies\, the Pride Service is not to be missed! Bring your own chair and sun hat/umbrella. In case of rain\, the Pride Worship Service will take place in the church at 56 Prince Edward St.\, Brighton.

Trails form loops through the landscape and offering relaxed paths for walking and seating areas for sitting and contemplating the natural environment.”

This year we have partnered with the Courtice Santa Claus Parade to host a special ‘Breakfast with Santa’ event. Yes\, it’s early\, but this means there will be more time to hang out with Santa himself\, without the hustle and bustle of the Christmas rush. Fun for the whole family! Come and enjoy a hearty breakfast\, decorate some cookies\, have your photo taken with Santa\, as well as exploring a fire truck in the parking lot and/or getting up close and personal with the back of an ambulance. We offer a fully accessible space for those that are differently abled\, and we are proud offer a space that supports all gender identities and sexual orientations. Lots of free parking.
