SUMMARY:Trans Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil
DESCRIPTION:To mark this year’s Trans Day of Remembrance\, the Affirm and Equity Committee at Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church will be holding a candlelight vigil in the Sanctuary from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday\, November 20th. \nHeld annually on November 20th\, Trans Day of Remembrance honours and memorializes those who have lost their lives due to anti-transgender violence. It aims to raise awareness about the violence and ongoing challenges faced by the transgender community. \nTrinity-St. Andrew’s stands in solidarity with trans people and welcomes everyone to show their support and pay their respects by attending this special candlelight vigil on November 20th.
