DESCRIPTION:Cressy Glenora United Church invites the community to Pride Sunday on June 22 at 10:45 a.m. Featuring special guest speaker Vi Woo (they/them)\, local artist and accessibility activist. Affirming minister Rev. Aaron Miechkota will explore how faith and spirituality promote deep acceptance of our authentic selves. Prayer candles for social justice issues facing the 2S-LGBTQAI+ community and our world. All are welcome to stay for a rainbow reception and conversation after the service. DESCRIPTION:“100 Tables” is an invitation to the community to come share our vision for stewardship of our natural environment by spending time in our many gardens or walking our trails. We have a large property with lots of natural features to share. Our gardens are well-kept and include areas such as the butterfly garden\, native plant garden\, and the children’s garden. In partnership with AIDS Committee of Durham Region\, we have a vegetable garden to supply their patrons with fresh produce. \nAt the rear of the property\, we boast a mix of woodlands\, meadows\, wetlands\, and a pond. It’s nature’s perfect recipe for every level of flora and fauna. Trails form loops through the landscape and offering relaxed paths for walking and seating areas for sitting and contemplating the natural environment.”
