No More Silent Battles

Mark Street United Church is very excited to launch the viewing of this documentary and discussion about transforming home care for individuals suffering with dementia. It will take place on Monday, April 20th at 7 p.m.

“NO MORE SILENT BATTLES” is directed by local and well-renowned, Dr. Jenny Ingram, Internal and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Ingram has worked with seniors for decades and has witnessed declining memory and different forms of dementia in many of her patients. Rather than accept the status quo, Dr. Ingram directed this film and included local people to tell their stories about wanting to keep their loved one at home and how difficult that is without adequate support and resources.

Come and join the discussion and we’ll problem solve and find some authentic and realistic solutions. Dr. Ingram will be present and will answer your pressing questions and concerns following the viewing.
