Investment in Leaders Fund 2022

Funding projects and activities for mission objectives of the East Central Ontario Regional Council

We are excited to Launch the ECORC Investment in Leaders Fund 2022:

The Assembly of Elders of the East Central Ontario Regional Council (ECORC) have approved the request of the Formation, Nurture and Justice Team to create an ECORC Investment in Leader Fund.

The submission form can be found on this page. It will allow you to upload documents, including a void cheque for banking.

Background

To provide both ministry personnel and lay leaders with financial assistance for learning events, grants through the Investment in Leaders Fund are available for the 2022 calendar year.

Criteria for selection

One of the guiding criteria adopted is an effort to share equitably the funding allotted to our Regional Council. Therefore, grants will be limited to one-third (1/3) of the associated costs, to a limit of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250).  There is no longer an expectation that the Community of Faith and applicant must share the remaining costs equally.

  • Applications can only be received by an individual once per calendar year.
  • At least half (1/2) of the entire fund is reserved for grants to lay leaders.

If you have any questions or if you need any help with the application, please contact Sharon Hull – shull@united-church.ca or 1 – 800-268-3781 ext 6165.
