Curve Lake Pow Wow

Faith United in Courtice is going to the Curve Lake Pow Wow on Saturday, Sept 19th. Sometimes things can be scary the first time, so let’s go together! This year, transportation will be by carpooling. We recommend being at the grounds by 11 am. The grand entry is at noon, weather permitting. We are meeting at Faith United, 1778 Nash Road, Courtice, between 9:30 and 9:45 am and will leave around 10-ish. If another community of faith would like to join us, we are looking for drivers and passengers. The other option is to start a carpool from your church. There is a minimal cost for those ages 6 to 59.

Schedule:
- Please arrive at Faith United by 9:30 if driving
- Target departure: 10:00 am and arrival: 11:00 am
- Grand Entry at noon, maybe delayed if it rains
- Estimated departure time varies
Arrival information:
- Entry fee for those between the ages of 6 and 59
- Transportation from the car park to the ground entrance is provided
What to Bring
- Check the weather and dress accordingly – this event occurs rain or shine
- Bring a lawn chair, maybe a cushion for comfort, and we can gather under the canopy of trees together
- Consider bringing suntan lotion and bug repellent
- Umbrella or sun umbrella
- Consider bringing what you wish to drink
What to Eat
- Lunch and snacks are available from food vendors for a fee, or bring your own
