Mental health presentations delivered by young people for young people. Using the power of personal stories and mental health education to inspire, engage, educate and empower young people to look out for themselves and their peers. Trained youth speakers will equip audiences to spark conversations, look out for each other, and end the silence around mental health.
Where: Westminster United Church – 1850 Rossland Road East, Whitby, Ontario
When: June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. (Refreshments served at 1:30pm)
Who: For youth aged 14 to 19 years old
What: Lead by youth, for youth.
Why: Normalize mental health conversations. Identify and dismantle barriers to positive mental health in our communities.
