Dear Friends in Christ,

You are invited to attend our upcoming Annual Fall Hybrid Business Meeting, a special gathering dedicated to worship, reflection, and vital church business. This year’s theme, “Anchored in Hope,” reminds us of the steadfast hope that sustains and guides us in our shared mission as we continue building on the Spirit of “We have this Hope” from our spring meeting this past May.

Join us on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at The Alderville Community Centre located at 8913 County Road 45, Alderville as we come together to celebrate our journey, discuss important initiatives, and look forward with hope and purpose. Your participation is essential as we continue to serve our communities and uphold the values that unite us. Doors open for registration and social time at 9:00am with our meeting beginning at 10am till approximately 5:00pm.

Saturday morning, we will have a Covenanting Service between ECORC, Rev. David King and Alderville United Church and in the afternoon, there will be a covenanting service with the LLWL’s, new members of the Council of Elders and volunteers.

Registration is now open and you can find the form below. Please note that registration to include lunch will close on Thursday, October 16th at 3pm to allow time for the caterer and meeting preparation. You will still be able to register afterwards, but will be responsible to bring your own lunch. Final registration will close on Tuesday, October 21st at 3pm. If you are unable to attend and would like to send regrets, you will find that form below to fill out.

Meeting details and materials are currently being finalized and will be posted to our webpage as they become available. Notices will be put in the weekly newsletters. A block of rooms will be reserved at The Best Western in Cobourg, reservation details to come shortly.
